EcoCover International Director Appointment Release Date: 2007-08-03 EcoCover International's Chairman Murray Cruickshank is pleased to announce the appointment of Dean Hawkins to the Board of Directors.Dean was COO and a Director of Video Networks Ltd for 4 years prior to the sale of the company to Tiscali. Prior to this he was a consultant to a significant US investor in relation to the re-structuring of the investor’s investment in Video Networks. He was previously COO and CFO of Chello Media which is now part of Liberty Global. From 1996 to 2000 Dean was CFO of adidas AG, during which time the company’s market capitalisation grew from €1.5bn to €8bn. Prior to joining adidas, Dean was an investment banker with UBS in Zurich and London focusing predominantly on equity flotations, including leading the IPO of adidas. He also worked in investment banking for eight years in Australia. Dean qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1984 and holds a Commerce/Finance degree from the University of Newcastle, Australia.
