Massey University's Latest Research Complete

Release Date: 2006-06-03

Massey University have completed their latest [refer News Article dated 1st December 2005] independent 6 month research project into the comparison between black plastic, our patented coloured [red] EcoCover and the patented standard EcoCover.

Refer updated news article 20.06.07 "EcoCover Outperforms Black Plastic - It's Official."

The two short life crops that were studied are both hugely significant global crops of high value. The research results will be posted on our website shortly [Product Attributes section] however we can best summarise with a direct quotation from Massey's opening statement in their 30 page report:
"The results show that the EcoCover mulches are able to increase fruit number per plant, fruit size and total yield of both crops."

EcoCover mulch will provide superior financial returns to growers than black plastic and of course is a sustainable, environmentally responsible solution.
